You might not give it to him, but the current generation Kia Sportage has been with us for almost 3 years. Time for a facelift.
It is August 2015 when Kia presents the current generation Sportage, a crossover that has also been part of our endurance test fleet. Kia puts the now almost three-year-old counterpart of cars like the Volkswagen Tiguan, Ford Kuga and Nissan Qashqai on the drawing board.
This snapped test sample hangs fanatically in the stickers. The new lighting at the front is already visible, viewers in which four LEDs are processed. Previously, we saw this ‘ice cube lighting’, as Kia calls it, already on the Rio and the new Ceed. Kia also seems to be installing a new grille on the front of his medium-sized SUV. On the back, the lighting is of course also renewed, the new ones already seem to pass through the camouflage work.
Most probably Kia replaces the atmospheric 1.6 GDI with the 1.4 T-GDI that it installs in the Ceed. We are still awaiting a response from Kia Netherlands.
