TheToyota LandCruiser Utility Commercial has been revealed for the UK market, blending the off-road ability of the Prado with the load-lugging practicality of a commercial van.
Offered in both three-door and five-door bodies (pictured), the LandCruiser Utility Commercial is a two-seater with a rubber-lined cargo area combined with a bulkhead and mesh hatch to offer a “robust solution to your transportation needs”.
Equipment highlights include 17-inch steel wheels, keyless entry with push-button start, front and rear LED daytime-running lights, front fog-lights, automatic halogen headlights, traction control, trailer sway control (LWB only), air conditioning, a colour 4.2-inch TFT driver’s display, bluetooth, AUX and USB inputs, and tyre-pressure monitoring.
Power comes from the familiar2.8-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel, making130kW of power at 3400rpm and420Nm of torque between 1400 and 2600rpm. Only a six-speed manual is offered on the Utility Commercial, sending drive to a selectable all-wheel drive system.
The LandCruiser Utility Commercial is priced from £27,546 ($50,389) for the short-wheelbase version and £28,509 ($52,150) for the long-wheelbase model before taxes and on-road costs.
